PARK RD

PARK RD are a five-piece indie-rock band from Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland. Known for their energetic live show & a maturity in their songwriting, they have formed a reputation as one of the most exciting bands coming out of a new scene in New Zealand.

Formed as school friends, PARK RD have spent years writing, recording and performing live on stages across NZ and Australia. The past 12 months alone has seen them perform at festivals such as Rhythm & Vines, Soundsplash, SXSW Sydney and Big Sound Brisbane, plus supporting Milky Chance, Spacey Jane, and The Rions on their Australian tour.

May 2024 saw the release of their debut album, The Novel, an album which saw them blending their guitar-driven sound with pop-inspired flavours. Since that time, they have toured the album across both NZ and Australia, with a growing fanbase behind them.

New single ‘English Boy’ arrives at the end of 2024, the first taste of a new sound for PARK RD. The track is the first from a new album, set to be completed in amongst another busy summer of touring.

The lineup is Tom Chamberlain on vocals, Angus Hampton-Carr on lead guitar, Leo Crawshaw-Bond on guitar, Carlos Martin on bass, and Te Kapua Pene on drums.
